MEET OUR TEAM

Meet Micah, our Owner and Founder.

Micah grew up in Cody, Wyoming but Montana has been his home for 25 years. Micah started Misty Mountain Woodworks in 2007 after years in the industry learning the trade, and has never looked back. He's the creative force behind each project, meticulously overseeing every detail in the shop. Micah is a devoted family man and hands-on owner. You can catch him scaling icy heights during ice climbs or navigating the rugged terrain in his trusty Land Cruiser when he's recharging.

Meet Maggie, our Office Manager.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Maggie has called Montana home for the past decade. Currently pursuing her Interior Design degree at Gallatin College, she brings three years of industry experience to the table. Outside of the office, Maggie is a proud mother, raising a first-generation Montana boy named Wilder. When she gets the chance, she is immersed in the playground of the outdoors. Carving the coldsmoke on her snowboard and teaching her son to do the same. She pulls inspiration from her time outside and transfers that into her mixed media art.

Meet Scott, our Head Installer.

Scott traded the city lights of Detroit, Michigan for the mountain heights of Bozeman in 2014. He is an invaluable part of our team, and brings 15 years of industry experience to our table. He crossed paths with his wife while diving in the crystal-clear waters of Palau, where he worked as a scuba instructor. Now, the couple shares the joy of parenthood, raising a young son who is as curious about the world as his adventurous parents. Outside the professional realm, you'll find Scott carving through powder on the slopes, setting up camp under the stars, gliding along rivers in his kayak, and patiently waiting for the perfect catch while fishing.
